Student Information System (SIS)

ESU provides the students with many services through accessing SIS. It enables the students to apply their registration requests, and allows the administration to communicate with them to finish the procedures of admission and registration. It also represents the platform on which the data of payment is recorded, in addition to sharing the marks and final GPA of the students at the end of the term.

SIS services:

  • Omitting and adding courses within the registration process at the beginning of each term.
  • Searching for the timetables of the courses, in case of selecting the courses by the student.
  • Reviewing the timetable in details.
  • Reviewing the final marks of the registered courses.
  • Offering a brief of all fees related to the financial account of the student.
  • Communicating with the various administrations of the university through Tickets.

Educational Portal Model (Moodle)

It represents the main gathering for the students and the faculties. It offers several educational services for the students, as follow:

  • Accessing the courses, as the students can read and upload them through Moodle.
  • Virtual classes through which the courses instructors explain the lectures, and effectively communicate with the students.
  • Information exchange, as it allows the students to access the extracurricular activities provided by the university.
  • It allows accessing the e-books, which help the students to solve their quizzes.
  • Conducting the quizzes, which prove the students’ attendance of lectures, along with holding the mid-term and final exams.

Tickets

The method by which the students can communicate with the university and apply their requests and questions.

How to open a ticket:

  1. Logging into SIS by using the username and password.
  2. Select the Ticket option and choose (open new ticket).
  3. Choosing the relevant administration, and writing the main topic and the details in the relevant box.
  4. The files can be attached through the option of (attached file) 
  5. Pressing Open Ticket, then an email will be sent to you to explain the status of the ticket and how to follow it up.
